Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 5, 2026
At Activism in Heels, I believe activism should be for everyone. This website is a space for big dreams, brave conversations, and real-life change and everyone should be able to access it comfortably.
I am committed to making this website as accessible and easy to use as possible for people with disabilities.
WHAT I AM DOING
I aim to make the site easier to navigate and read by:
-
Using clear headings and simple language;
-
Choosing readable fonts, colours, and layouts;
-
Adding alternative text to images whenever possible;
-
Making sure important information is not shared only through images;
-
Keeping the website usable with a keyboard and compatible with common screen-reader tools where possible;
-
Reviewing new content and fixing accessibility issues when I find them.
Activism in Heels is an independent blog that is still growing, so I may not get everything perfect immediately. But I genuinely care about improving it. Accessibility is not an afterthought here.
THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
Some parts of this website may link to third-party platforms, such as social media, newsletter services, external organisations, or La Boutique Activiste. I do not control the accessibility of those external websites, but I welcome feedback if a link creates a barrier.
